Stebani Cruz wrote “Cougar in the House” as an anthem of older women asserting their sensuality without the boundaries of age. Demi Moore and Madonna are examples of women in their prime who love who they want despite age differences. Cruz feels that a cougar is a woman who follows her own heart no matter what society says. A cougar woman is intelligent, confident, self-sufficient, active, passionate and above all classy which makes her very sexy and attractive to any man including some that are younger. Cougar is a tribute to all those women out there who happen to share their lives with younger men and don’t care what society thinks.
